The Problem:

Fabricators traditionally use B-Stations for their forming operations. Most forming operations may be performed using a B-Station, whether it’s a louver, knockout or emboss. Larger stations are also used when required by the design or size of the form.

Since there are a limited number of station slots, challenges arise when the B or larger stations fill up. A look at a typical current generation 45 station turret layout quickly shows why: there are 12 B-Stations, 2 C and 2 E-Stations and 1 D-Station, plus 2 each B and C-Auto-Index Stations.
